How do I place my property details on your site ?
On the right of our web page you will see the navigation bar of which under the title Advertisers Section you will find the link “ Create an Ad”. Before you may create an advertisement you need to register. Once you have provided the system with a Username and Password you may immediately gain access to the advertising pages. An email is also sent reconfirming your access details for future use.
How much does it cost and how can I pay ?
Prices start from as little as £49 for a basic 6 months feature. Once your advertisement has been created and you Submit your ad our system will generate an invoice. We give customers 7 days to make payment either by credit card immediately online, send a cheque or by wire transfer in either Pounds Sterling, Euros and Dollars you may select your preferred payment currency.
Managing your advertisement.
How do I change my photos?
Adding or Changing Photos is very easy. Firstly the photos you wish to use need to be located on your computer. After accessing the Advertisers login section and under Photos you will see the large Browse buttons, simply click on this and select the photo you wish to use from your computer. When adding always keep your photos in order of how you wish customers to view them from top to bottom.
Please try and keep each photo smaller than 150kb in size.
If your photos are not on your computer and you would like us to load them on to our site you may e-mail them to photos @ findavacationproperty.com or send in the post to Find a Vacation Property, Ashe Grange, Foreman Road, Ash, Hampshire, GU12 6HD. Please put your property reference code on the reserve of each photo and advise if you would like the photos returned and to which address.
How do I update my property description?
After you login to the advertisers section, you will note at the bottom of each page it states
Click SAVE to save your work and remain on this page.
Click CONTINUE to save your work and move to the next page.
Click SUBMIT on page 4 ( Photos & Feature Type ) to Update your live ad.
You have three options, if you wish to Save the work and log out then simply click on Save. If on the other hand you wish to Continue and update the next page then click on Continue this will then Save any changes you have made then move you on to the next page. Submit at the end on Page 4 for Rentals or Page 3, 4 Sale properties will then request our editors to double check your advertisement contents before adding to the live site. Only when you originally create your ad can you view by going to Direct to Property, next time you update and click on Submit you will be unable to see a copy of your page until our editors approve your newly amended ad.
How do I update my Availability Calendar?
When updating all you need do is advise what dates you are SOLD OUT then click on Submit and your Live Availability Chart will be updated. Red is shown for Sold Out or occupied and Blue for nights that are available.
Do I have to show availability?
You have the choice however by NOT updating your availability calendar visitors clicking on your availability calendar will see the following message “Availability Charts Not Updated - Please Contact Owner”. If you do not update you may find you will receive a lot of enquires for Sold Out dates. Considering our system allows customers to search for properties which are available for a specific date this means by updating you are more likely to receive only enquires for dates when you are available thus saving you a great deal of time.
How do I now when some one makes an enquiry?
As soon as a new customer clicks on Contact Owner and completes their details within that form an email is immediately sent to the email address you provide. Alternatively, customers may call you on the numbers provided.
My Region or Resort is not listed?
After accessing the Advertiser Login in section and on the property details page and on the very rare occasion that you find say your country, region, sub region or resort are not featured we have given you the opportunity to add this for yourself.
